Job summary

East of England Community Health & Care NHS Trust in Cambridgeshire is recruiting a Band 7 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join the newly established Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Team. You will lead diagnostic assessments, work within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to improving outcomes for children and families.

The role involves ASD/ADHD pathways, ADOS observations, gathering information from families and education teams, delivering clear feedback, and helping to develop care

Responsibilities

• Lead on diagnostic ND assessments and observations including ADOS
• Participate in ASD/ADHD diagnostic pathways
• Gather and analyse information from families, education and other professionals
• Deliver clear and compassionate feedback to families after MDT assessments
• Provide clinical expertise in differential diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions
• Manage a specialist caseload and produce high-quality reports
• Contribute to service development, audit and waiting list initiatives
• Support the ND pathways across Cambridgeshire and provide supervision to colleagues
