ICC Healthcare, affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in Webster, TX, seeks a neurocritical care intensivist to support their imminent Neuro ICU expansion. The role features day shifts, 12-hour coverage, and 15 shifts per month, with call from home and a focus on 18-bed Neuro ICU development.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, contribute to a robust GME program across IM, Surgical, and EM residencies, PCCM and Critical Care Fellowships, and participate in teaching, privileging

• Board certified/board eligible in Neurocritical Care.
• Completion of Neurocritical Care Fellowship.
• TX Licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Full-time availability: 15 shifts per month (12-hour).
• Day shifts with coverage call from home; 18-bed Neuro ICU.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support neurocritical care services in the new Neuro ICU.
• Provide daytime coverage with night coverage by physicians and residents.
• Teach and supervise IM, Surgical, EM residents and PCCM/CCF fellows.
• Collaborate within MICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, CCU teams.
• Participate in program development and quality initiatives.

Job Summary:

ICC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated neurocritical care intensivist to join the team at HCA Houston Clear Lake in Webster, Texas to support their future Neuro ICU expansion.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/board eligible Neurocritical Care

• Completion of NeuroCritical Care Fellowship

• TX Licensure or ability to obtain

• Ability to work Full Time: 15 (12-hour) shifts per month

• Day shifts only with neuro coverage call from home

• Support a new 18 bed dedicated Neuro ICU

• Staffing model: 3 Physicians and 2 APPs during the day, 2 Physicians at night with residents on both shifts

• Four ICU Units: MICU, Neuro, CVICU, CCU

• Clinical teaching responsibilities to support robust GME program: IM, Surgical, EM residencies and future PCCM and Critical Care Fellowships
