ICC Healthcare is seeking an Intensivist Medical Director to lead the ICU team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This role combines clinical leadership with administrative responsibilities for a 77-bed ICU and a team of intensivists and APPs.

The candidate should be board certified in critical care, hold TN licensure or eligibility, and bring proven leadership to drive quality initiatives for resident and fellow education within an established program.

Qualifications

• Board certification in critical care (all tracks considered).
• Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain.
• Full-time, 12-hour shifts, some nights required.
• Medical Director will hold clinical and administrative responsibilities with dedicated Administrative Time.
• Leadership experience required for Medical Director position.
• Broad knowledge and solid experience with all critical care patient populations including cardiac, cardiothoracic surgery, medical, and neuro.
• Manage 77-bed ICU program.
• Supervise and support all team intensivists and APPs.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary hospital initiatives.

• Ability to work Full Time, block scheduling, 12-hour shifts, some nights required
• Medical Director will hold clinical and administrative responsibilities with dedicated Administrative Time
• Leadership experience required for Medical Director position
• Broad Knowledge and solid experience with all critical care patient populations including cardiac, cardiothoracic surgery, medical, and neuro
• Manage 77-bed ICU program
• 3 Intensivists and 3 APPs during the day, 1 Intensivist and 2 APPs at night
• Supervise and support all team intensivists and advanced practice providers
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in multidisciplinary hospital initiatives
• Develop collaborative relationships with primary and consulting physicians, facility leadership, and clinical staff
• Possess excellent communication skills with collegial teamwork focusParticipate in teaching responsibilities with ACGME-Accredited Residency programs
