Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote compassionate, high-quality patient care on the 5th Floor Acute Care Neuro Trauma Unit. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and support the hospital's mission.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and RN license in the state of employment.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience is noted as a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection.
• Maintain confidential charts and document status and outcomes accurately.
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patient rights.
• Provide patient and family education and assess learning needs.
