Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit.

You will collaborate with the care team to advance trauma and neuro care, applying the nursing process to meet patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will provide critical care across trauma, cardiology, stroke, and neurosciences, while adhering to standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (or by endorsement) is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in state of employment.
• Two years of recent RN inpatient hospital experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS; TCAR or TNCC within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient’s response and implement plans of care.
• Document status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality care.
• Provide patient/family education and teach-back as appropriate.
