St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO seeks a Registered Nurse to join the 3rd Floor Surgical Unit.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, promoting safe, high-quality care compliant with the State Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, performing IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and accurate charting.

Competenze

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical unit and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts accurately; document status and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patient rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs.
