Job summary

Cortex TBI seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our neurological care team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will evaluate patients with traumatic brain injuries and related conditions, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to optimize outcomes.

You will conduct histories, perform neurological exams, and provide evidence-based care within licensed scope.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where patient care will be provided.
• Current national board certification.
• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and obtain medical histories.
• Perform physical examinations and focused neurological assessments.
• Develop individualized assessment and treatment plans based on findings and guidelines.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests within scope and protocols.
• Coordinate care with neurologists and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and HIPAA compliance.
