Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Transdisciplinary Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation team. This full-time role focuses on delivering holistic, individualized care for patients with TBI, stroke, SCI and other neurological conditions, helping them return home, work, school and community.

You will evaluate and treat patients, develop and adjust plans of care with the team, participate in discharge planning and family

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies the plan of care with the transdisciplinary team.
• Delivers therapy across multiple environments and modifies sessions to maximize patient success.
• Educates patients, families, students and staff and participates in discharge planning.
• Completes medical records documentation timely and accurately.
• Participates in family conferences and ongoing professional development.
