Job summary

Cortex TBI in Colorado is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our neuro-focused team as a direct W-2 employee. You will evaluate patients with traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion symptoms, headaches, and cognitive difficulties, conducting histories, exams, and evidence-based assessments.

You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to support comprehensive care and improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in the state where patient care will be provided.
• Current national board certification.
• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and manage multiple patient care responsibilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and obtain detailed medical histories.
• Perform physical examinations and focused neurological assessments.
• Evaluate patients with traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, headaches, dizziness, and cognitive changes.
• Develop individualized assessment and treatment plans based on findings and guidelines.
• Coordinate care with neurologists, physicians, therapists, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
