Job summary

Novant Health's Neuro Surgical unit in Wilmington, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to support spine and brain surgery patients, including epilepsy monitoring across age groups. Required is a 4-year nursing degree and active RN licensure; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Onboarding includes comprehensive orientation and training.

Responsibilities

• Support spine patients and their families post-surgery.
• Assist with epilepsy monitoring across the age span.
• Participate in education sessions on the brain and spine.
• Support patients as they improve quality of life after cranial or spinal surgery.
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment and well-designed rooms.
