Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care on the Neuro Stroke unit with a focus on education, assessment, and coordination during night shifts.

Responsibilities include documenting assessments, planning and interventions, using the hospital information system, and ensuring patient safety and infection control. A BSN and active PA RN license with BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and educates patients based on age, culture, and values.
• Documents admission assessments, plan, interventions and medication use.
• Uses the information system to communicate patient changes and priorities care.
• Transferrs patient responsibility information during bedside handoffs and rounds.
• Recognizes patient needs and refers for abuse recognition when needed.
• Incorporates pain management and supportive care into the care plan.
• Maintains infection control standards and a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
