Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MS1A Neuro Stroke unit on a Night shift (7pm-7:30am). The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care using professional nursing skills, with a 4:1-6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and 24 private beds.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and identifies barriers to learning for patient education.
• Documents admission assessment, reassessment, plan, interventions and medication use per policy.
• Uses the information management system to communicate patient status to the care team and prioritizes care.
• Participates in interprofessional rounds to hand off patient care information.
