Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Float Team in Telemetry. This full-time day shift (7am–7:30pm) provides direct and indirect patient care with a focus on quality and safety.

BSN required, PA RN license, AHA BLS, and at least 3 years of critical care experience. You will document assessments, participate in rounds, and contribute to education and infection control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License
• AHA BLS
• 3 years of experience in critical care

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn; addresses barriers to learning and incorporates education into daily care.
• Documents admission assessments, reassessments, plans, interventions and medication use; monitors outcomes.
• Utilizes information systems to enhance communication and document patient condition changes; prioritizes assignments.
• Communicates transfer of care and pertinent information at the bedside and during rounds with the interdisciplinary team.
• Recognizes special patient needs and integrates care; aware of abuse recognition and referral.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean environment.
