Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Charge Nurse in the medical-surgical unit. You will oversee patient care, coordinate nursing assessments, and lead a clinical team under the director's guidance.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, planning and evaluating care, and ensuring compliance with standards such as BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke; Florida RN license required.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure: Florida Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke.
• English: must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Will perform direct patient care duties as Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose and plan patient care.
• Formulates and implements care plans and evaluates outcomes.
