Job summary

TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital seeks a Unit Coordinator and Monitor Technician for the 12ABD Neuroscience Intermediate Care unit. You will support nursing staff, monitor cardiac activity, and coordinate patient flow in a 30-bed neuroscience unit that handles ACDF, spinal surgeries, strokes, head injuries, and NSICU transitions.

The role emphasizes bedside care, charting, alarm monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proficient knowledge of computer applications specific to unit/job (i.e. maintaining census, accurate scanning of documents).

Education

High School Degree or GED

Basic cardiology course with 40 hours of clinical orientation

Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
