Job summary

Mercy in Clayton, MO is hiring an RN for Neuro Stepdown on FT days (3x12s, 7:00am–7:30pm). You will apply the nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care, maintain safety, rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to evaluate and improve care.

Requirements include graduation from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN), an active RN license in Missouri or compact state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (ADN/ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in MO or compact state for practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care and accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
