Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Maintain an RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Follows Mercy Service Standards in daily duties.
