Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion and graduation from an accredited radiology technologist professional program.
• ARRT (RT) and MRTBE Licensure.
• 1 year experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained before employment or within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and accompany patients to dressing and exam rooms.
• Set up and maintain patient dressing and procedure rooms.
• Perform high quality radiographic procedures under supervision of radiologist.
• Maintain procedure rooms including stocking supplies.
• Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed per ALARA principles.
• Lead shielding of patients whenever possible.
• Follow state regulations for X-ray logs.
• Maintain patient, physician, and staff privacy and confidentiality.
