Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Performs routine, portable, operating room or fluoroscopic exams.
• Performs complex radiographic procedures and guides junior technologists.
• Positions patient and explains procedures to ensure patient cooperation.
• Maintains radiation safety and minimizes exposure to patients and staff.
• Completes patient care documentation and ensures proper billing in the Radiology Information System.
