Job summary

CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ, is offering a Registered Nurse Residency Program for soon-to-be or newly licensed RNs in the Neuro unit. The 12-month orientation emphasizes leadership, critical thinking, and professional development with structured didactic content and simulation.

The program supports a progressive clinical experience, preceptorship, and mentorship while providing full-time employment, a gradual increase in responsibility, and exposure to wound care and respiratory

Qualifications

• Must be a soon-to-be or newly licensed RN or have less than one year of working RN experience.
• Must have a BSN or ASN degree, passed the NCLEX and have a NJ RN license before the employment start date.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Starting salary $44.00 hr.
• All offers will be for Full Time only. No guarantee of shift.

Responsibilities

• Be hired as a full-time, benefit eligible employee.
• Participate in a 12-month RN residency with preceptorship and progressive clinical experience.
• Receive structured didactic content, simulated labs, and mentoring.
• Develop leadership, critical thinking, and professional development.
• Balance classroom learning with on-the-floor exposure.
• Be paired with a trained preceptor and receive gradual increases in responsibility.
• May have off-unit experience with the Wound Care Team and Respiratory Therapy Department.
