CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Sciences Unit 4E. This regular full-time day shift (7A–7:30P) offers a 28-bed neuroscience environment with stroke, brain injury, seizures, and other neurological conditions.

Orientation includes IV course and CPR; ACLS and other certifications are pursued within the first year. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, multi-disciplinary collaboration, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Current NJ RN license required.
• CPR Certification required.
• ACLS certification to be achieved within first year.
• Stroke Education requirements to be achieved within first year.
• CSMC IV Certification to be achieved within first year.

Responsibilities

• Provides culturally sensitive nursing care to assigned patients.
• Documents nursing history, assessments, care plans, and progress in medical records.
• Administers medications following hospital policies and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Evaluates patient outcomes and participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Functions as Resource Nurse and mentors staff and students.
