Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks an RN for the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. The role covers night shifts, 24 hours weekly, with sign-on bonuses for graduate or experienced nurses.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care, coordination with the Stroke Team, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Requirements include graduation from a nursing program and an active RN license in Missouri (or compact).

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is licensed as RN in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and nurses.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission and standards.
• Care on Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit with focus on stroke care.
