Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit RN for 24 hours per week, nights. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating care with other departments, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while delivering high-quality care to stroke and pulmonary patients.

Qualified graduates with an RN license (state or compact) and Basic Life Support certification are required, with sign-on bonuses for Graduate Nurse and Experienced Nurse

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
