Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI seeks a registered nurse to join a 40-bed neuro unit. You will coordinate and deliver quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while teaching patients and families.

All RNs are ACLS and NIH certified, with strong teamwork and communication throughout the care team. BSN is preferred, and the ideal candidate will hold a Michigan RN license and demonstrate clinical knowledge to support diverse neuro diagnoses

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan.
• BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge to plan and evaluate nursing care.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; delegate and supervise as needed.
• Document care and educate patients and families; communicate pertinent information to the health care team.
