Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the LTAC Unit. The role focuses on evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in neurologically impaired patients, with goals of returning to home and community settings.

You will work with adolescents and adults, require Texas licensure, CPR certification, and completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.

Qualifications

• Education: M.A., M.S., M.Ed., SLPD, or Ph.D in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensure: Current SLP licensure in the State of Texas. Certification in CPR.
• Experience: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in neurologically impaired patients.
• Help patients return to home and community settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan care.
