Job summary

The MetroHealth System’s Rehabilitation Institute in Cleveland is seeking a registered nurse to join the Neuro Trauma Recovery Float Pool. You will rotate across three units, handling 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts with rotating weekends/holidays and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold Ohio RN licensure, and have BLS; BSN and rehabilitation nursing certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Float across 3 units within the Physical Rehabilitation Institute.
Provide patient care for SCI/TBI/stroke rehab patients in Neuro Trauma Recovery Float Pool.
Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, therapists and social workers to optimize patient recovery.
Support wound prevention and care and rehabilitation-specific education for patient/family.
