Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services’ Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation program seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under a licensed PT. The role emphasizes real-world community-based care, collaboration with therapists, and hands-on patient progress.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current Life Support or CPR certification as per state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist per patient Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly consult with the Physical Therapist about patient progress and plan.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Report equipment problems to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and assist in obtaining adaptive equipment.
• Maintain patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adhere to company standards and applicable laws.
• Attend staff development sessions and pursue continuing education as required.
