Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Miami, Florida. In this role, you'll provide essential therapy services alongside a qualified Physical Therapist, allowing patients to regain independence through engaging, community-based therapy activities.

The ideal candidate will have an active state license, effective communication skills, and experience in rehabilitation. Full-time and per diem positions available, offering meaningful work without weekend or holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned by the Physical Therapist.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regarding patient’s plan of treatment.
• Reports any problems with department equipment to appropriate personnel.

Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury

Education

Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state

Current Basic Life Support certification
