Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for neuro rehabilitation with a focus on home and community-based care in Massachusetts. The role involves implementing treatment plans under a PT, coordinating with the supervising therapist, and supporting patients in real-life environments.

The candidate should hold an unrestricted PTA license, BLS, and ideally one year of PTA experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state.
• BLS certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum one year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neuro injuries.
• Effective communication and professional verbal and written skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment and progress.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and department areas.
• Reports problems with department equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in required formats and timelines.
• Adheres to company policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
