Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide 1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries in an innovative outpatient setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and participate in family conferences. A bachelor's in OT, licensure, CPR, and at least one year of OT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing meetings/family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations with home and community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
