Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, part of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to guide patients recovering from neurological injuries in a neuro rehab setting. You’ll help rebuild independence, confidence, and the life they want.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or related field.
• Current professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year post-master’s degree clinical experience with brain injuries or related neurological conditions.
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Performs comprehensive evaluations with patients and families to set measurable objectives with the rehabilitation team.
• Delivers empirically based psychological interventions to maximize participation.
• Designs community reintegration activities addressing psychological/cognitive needs.
• Helps patients understand their needs and how to manage them during function.
• Reassesses treatment progress and modifies goals or plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to the treatment team, physician, family, and others as applicable.
• Consults with medical providers regarding evaluation, progress, and discharge.
• Documents changes in condition to the Clinical Coordinator and treatment team.
• Maintains and submits evaluation, treatment and billing documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Adheres to company policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
