Job summary

ReMed, A Collage Rehabilitation Partner is seeking an Activities Specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive recreational program for adults in neurorehabilitation. You will oversee individual recreation plans from initial assessment through monthly progress and discharge planning within a residential setting and community.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to help clients succeed in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and goals in treatment plans.
Assist with residential and hygiene routines, meal planning, apartment upkeep, money management, transportation training, and safety.
Assist with prescribed physical, visual, and physical therapy exercises.
Demonstrate proficiency in direct care tasks including medication administration, transfers, and job coaching.
Support clients during challenging situations, such as refusal of activities or medications.
