Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Neuro RN/GN for a 24-hour-per-week night shift. You will provide direct patient care on the Neuro/ Pulmonary Stroke Unit, coordinate with the Stroke Coordinator, and monitor patients with COPD, respiratory failure, or post-stroke care.

Applicants must have an accredited nursing degree and current RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact license; BLS certification is required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and teams.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality per Mercy standards.
