Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. The role covers night shifts with a focus on complex assessments, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification due within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and disciplines.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Works in the Neuro/ Pulmonary Stroke Unit caring for stroke and pulmonary patients.
