Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Progressive Care RN for mixed shift coverage.

You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, including pre-op and post-op nursing tasks and advocacy for patients to support a superior experience. The role emphasizes timely documentation, medication administration, and staying current with cardiac and medical-surgical protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Utah or eligibility
• Neuro/ICU step-down experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications obtained within required timeframes
• Stroke scale within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care and equipment.
