Qualifications

• BSN preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Progressive care, neurology, acute care, critical care, or charge/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight during the shift.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities to support safe unit operations.
• Offer guidance and resources to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Delegate and supervise to ensure proper delivery of care.
• Use nursing judgment to identify patient needs and utilize resources.
• Monitor unit operations and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Promote compliance with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with staffing needs and on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Serve as mentor and role model for the nursing team.
