Job summary

UPMC in Greensburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to restore mobility and function.

New graduates are welcome and we provide training to support clinical growth and leadership development. You will educate patients and families, monitor progress, and coordinate with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and eligible for licensure.
• Ability to evaluate patients and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
• Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents
