Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

The role offers patient-centered care focused on helping individuals regain function and improve quality of life, welcoming new graduates for training. You'll participate in staff meetings, supervise clinical support staff, and document services while contributing to continuous improvement and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in staff meetings and development programs.
• Supervises clinical support staff per the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Completes charge/statistical information accurately reflecting services rendered.
• Provides therapeutic interventions based on PT plans for all age groups.
• Assists PTs in patient surveys within the scope of practice.
• Maintains comprehensive documentation of clinical services.
• Rotates through treatment areas as needed.
• Provides feedback to supervisors on department performance and emergencies.
• Schedules to meet or exceed facility productivity standards.
• Implements treatment programs per PT plans and adjusts as needed.
