Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neuro PCU. This 38-bed telemetry unit focuses on neuroscience, stroke care, and post-surgical patients, operating 7am–7pm for 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license in Texas, ADN required with BSN preferred, BLS certification, and 1–2 years in acute care. Relocation assistance and ongoing education opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN program (RN license required in TX)
• ADN is required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of starting
• 1–2 years RN experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Neuro PCU with telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with unit-based teams following the team nursing model.
• Support neuro and stroke-related patient care including seizure management and post-op care.
