Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine is seeking a Seasonal RN for the Neuro PCU. This 13-week, 7pm-7am assignment involves caring for high-acuity neuro patients in a fast-paced unit.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of recent PCU acute care experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification within 30 days of start. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant PCU acute care hospital experience.
• RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support certification within first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments following practice standards with good clinical judgment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Manage emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and comfort.
