Job summary
AdventHealth in Celebration, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift. Conduct assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer meds, and educate patients and families while coordinating with the care team.
The 40-bed Neuro PCU specializes in stroke care with a 4:1 nurse ratio. Requires RN license and BLS; Associate’s degree required, BSN preferred; 1+ acute care experience preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- 1+ year of acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate and revise.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
