Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro PCU on a 13-week night shift assignment in New Jersey. The role requires 2+ years ICU/Neuro experience, NJ license or multi-state compact, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Telemetry.

Epic charting experience and ventilator management are preferred. The RN will evaluate patients, assist physicians, and develop individualized care plans while documenting care and advocating evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license (or multi-state compact) required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Telemetry certifications.
• Neuro experience and Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate priorities for care.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, physician’s diagnosis, and functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Floats to units within competency as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
