Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks an RN Clinical Educator for the Neuro Progressive Care Unit to advance professional development and clinical excellence. You will assess learning needs, develop programs, and promote evidence-based nursing practice for complex neuro conditions.

Partner with nursing leadership and system educators to enhance competency, improve patient outcomes, and support staff growth throughout the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Requires NM or Compact state RN licensure.
• Associates degree required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Specialty certification in nursing/education preferred.
• Maintains BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or relevant emergency training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for Neuro PCU staff.
• Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and nurse residency support.
• Provide bedside coaching and real-time clinical guidance.
• Facilitate competency validation and ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with leadership to set educational priorities from quality metrics.
