Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) – Neuro for the night shift. You will provide patient care, collect and report data, and perform procedures while supporting admission, transfer and discharge processes.

The role requires BCLS and CPI training, with nursing student or EMT pathways considered upon hire. The position is full-time, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 36 hours per week, located at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CLIAFE compliance required; foreign education equivalency considered.
• PCT Training Program or THR approved program required or on hire.
• EMT training or equivalent military medical training may be required.
• BCLS certification required prior to providing patient care; quarterly maintenance.
• CPI training with annual refreshers required.
• Prior healthcare experience or nursing student status may be considered.
• Nurses’ plan of care and patient data collection responsibilities defined.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admission, transfer and discharge.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and meet patient/visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
