Texas Health Fort Worth seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to provide direct patient care in the Neuro unit, supporting nurses and the care plan. You will collect patient data, assist with admissions, and document care accurately in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a diploma or equivalent, BCLS, CPI, and PCT/EMT training or equivalent experience. Night shift, full-time, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• PCT Training Program or THR approved program. Not required to maintain certification after hire.
• EMT-B or equivalent military medical training upon hire.
• Nursing student with fundamentals completed upon hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience may substitute for active certification upon hire.
• BCLS required prior to independent care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data; supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proactively meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and safety initiatives.
