Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) for weekend nights to join a Magnet-designated hospital system renowned for cardiovascular, obstetric, and neurosciences programs. The role supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes while assisting with patient care per the plan of care.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or equivalent and have PCT training or EMT/foreign nurse credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data, supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proactively meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and safety initiatives.
