Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
• American Heart Association HealthCare Provider Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated patient care activities using evidence-based practice.
• Checks patients’ vital signs, height, and weight as needed.
• Provides compassionate care and addresses patient questions.
• Escalates changes in patient status or risk to care team.
• Collects clinical data and reports to care team.
• Transports patients and assists with mobility.
• Aids patients with daily activities and needs.
• Performs ECGs and phlebotomy as directed.
• Ensures age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and safety.
• Maintains professional relationships with patients and families.
