The Role You’ll Contribute

Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for neurologic patients, including CVA, Parkinson’s, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee, and others. Provide 1:1 patient care, collaborate with speech and occupational therapy teams for comprehensive care.

• Evaluate, develop care plans, and treat patients with bodily impairments and functional limitations
• Assess patients' ability to perform functional mobility and evaluate musculoskeletal and neurological systems
• Design and implement treatment plans using standard practices, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with speech and occupational therapy teams for comprehensive patient care
• Accurately document and bill for services following standards and policies
• Assist with discharge planning and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Oversee care provided by assistants and aides according to regulations
• Participate in department meetings and ongoing education
• Maintain clinical knowledge through professional development and evidence-based practices
