Qualifications

• Fellowship training in neuro-oncology is required.
• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification and Texas medical licensure eligibility.
• Experience supervising neuro-oncology fellows and neurology residents is desirable.
• Strong documentation and communication with referring physicians.
• Willingness to participate in research and education activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient neuro-oncology care and participate in the inpatient neurology consult service and on-call schedule.
• Develop and maintain a neuro-oncology practice and supervise staff in clinic and inpatient services.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding and timely medical records documentation.
• Engage in clinical research and teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Participate in departmental and hospital committees and clinical education programs.
