Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a clinical neuropsychologist to join the Section of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neuro-Oncology. The position reports to the Chief and Chair and focuses on care for adult cancer patients.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient neuropsychology, supervising staff, teaching fellows and trainees, participating in clinical research, and contributing to departmental committees.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology is required.
• Must meet criteria for full licensure in the state of Texas.
• Oncology training is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical neuropsychological care to adult cancer patients.
• Provide staffing for outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative service; ensure proper documentation and coding.
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activity; educate externs, graduate students and fellows.
• Represent the department in meetings; participate in committee work as requested.
• Travel to sites outside Houston; share information with department colleagues upon return.
